In 1952, Bill, Sr. and his wife, Dee, began Nolechek's Meats, Inc. in Thorp, a small farming community in Central Wisconsin. Bill, Sr. took great pride in developing and making the highest quality meat product possible. The early years meant long, hard days for both Bill and Dee, but what became of their hard work and dedication is a nationally known, a superb quality meat plant.
Bill, Sr. and Dee also managed to raise seven children - Christine, Bill, Jr., Jennifer, Mary, Nancy, Kelly and Tracy. Three of these children are still involved in the business today.
In 1992, Bill, Sr. began to hand the reins over to his two sons, Bill, Jr. and Kelly. Bill, Jr. and Kelly proudly took on the challenge to uphold the quality and reputation that their parents had built. They have expanded on the number of quality products and are forever growing with the times. Their venison processing and products are second to none, and the traditional sausage products, hams and bacons are shipped daily, nationwide.
They currently have a hardworking, dedicated staff of seven, including Bill Jr., Kelly, one of their sisters, Jennifer, and Kelly's son, Chad.
